Allow me to introduce my new line of kerchiefs/bandanas. Bandanas are a square step up from 2010’s line of Damage Patches. They are functional both utilitarian and fashionably.
Take the bandana off your arm or sleeve and use it as a quick pouch, a mask against fumes, a do-rag, a wipe, handkerchief or even a bandage. I could illustrate 101 ways to use a kerchief, and I will. For instance, as a man with a constantly dyed head of hair, it is impossible for me to keep my non-black tshirts from staining around the neck… unless im wearing a kerchief.
This item is the ‘(Heart Of) Blackened Gold’ line of kerchiefs. A simple gold print of one of my classic screenprint anatomical hearts on a black cotton square, distressed with texture underlays maintaining the basic shape and structure, adding a hint of color. A functional silver zipper ornaments the intended viewable area when worn as an accessory.
Approximately 51cm square and 70cm across. The YKK zipper measures 21cm. This is the first of its kind - I am selling the actual prototype that was finished just now, 11.4.2011. Unique, hand made by yours truly.

Using cutaway sections of the classic anatomical heart woodcut (the first print design in the CRNR arsenal), concentrating on the chitinous detail of the lower ventrical vein for maximum organic impact.
Printed on linen using water-based solvent-free screenprint ink in Athens, Greece. Nickel Free Earring Hoop hand attached with black dyed copper wire. Razor indicates size - 4.5cm / 1.77”, and is not included.
