Allow me to introduce my new line of kerchiefs/bandanas. Bandanas are a square step up from 2010’s line of Damage Patches. They are functional both utilitarian and fashionably.

Take the bandana off your arm or sleeve and use it as a quick pouch, a mask against fumes, a do-rag, a wipe, handkerchief or even a bandage. I could illustrate 101 ways to use a kerchief, and I will. For instance, as a man with a constantly dyed head of hair, it is impossible for me to keep my non-black tshirts from staining around the neck… unless im wearing a kerchief.

This item is the ‘(Heart Of) Blackened Gold’ line of kerchiefs. A simple gold print of one of my classic screenprint anatomical hearts on a black cotton square, distressed with texture underlays maintaining the basic shape and structure, adding a hint of color. A functional silver zipper ornaments the intended viewable area when worn as an accessory.

Approximately 51cm square and 70cm across. The YKK zipper measures 21cm. This is the first of its kind - I am selling the actual prototype that was finished just now, 11.4.2011. Unique, hand made by yours truly.

Design & Manufacture: Mark Splatter

Using cutaway sections of the classic anatomical heart woodcut (the first print design in the CRNR arsenal), concentrating on the chitinous detail of the lower ventrical vein for maximum organic impact.

Printed on linen using water-based solvent-free screenprint ink in Athens, Greece. Nickel Free Earring Hoop hand attached with black dyed copper wire. Razor indicates size - 4.5cm / 1.77”, and is not included.

Gunchbelts are hand-printed with Dadaistic collage, to be worn loosely around the waist or wrapped around the wrist, Male or Female, this makes the perfect accessory for the urbanist.

This leather black belt with chromed buckle (apx. 80 cm in length) is a vintage piece thats been reclaimed and upcylced with a red silkscreen print of one of CR&R’s Dada collages for a one of a kind street fashion texture… think urban camoufalge, or snakeskins for stylistic chameleons. “The more belts the merrier” has always been my motto. With one or more of these wrapped around wrist, neck, waist, ankle, (x), any or all of the above its the compliment to any style.

New Products from 2011, my handmade prints/crafts:
Fix Patches are the next line of products from the Creepy Rock & Roll label, and an upgrade from the original ‘Damage Patch’. All screen printed and sewed by hand, out of the workshop of Mark Splatter. Fix Patches with Anti-fray edges for a cleaner look, but still the same roughcut horror/punk style.

Fix Patches are multi-layered, staggered images with texture and dimension. Backed by stiff denim, with images in cotton jersey/linen, with additional, distinctive fabric layers on top. They are sewed together with a smooth seam, folded over at the edges to prevent these Frayed Edges.

Fix Patches can attach as-is to fit your jacket, shirt, dress, bag or flesh with pins, fabric glue, machine or hand stitched.

Damage Patches are multi-layered, staggered handmade silkscreen prints with texture and dimension. Backed by stiff linen or denim, with images on cotton jersey/linen, with additional, distinctive fabric layers on top. Bandages, mesh, construction materials and other repurposed and appropriated materials found in backs of closets, discount bins or stolen off the streets. They are sewed together in a rough but sturdy zig zag.
